This training is intended for professionals who want to learn about Trust-Based Relational InterventionĀ® (TBRIĀ®) and use it within their professional capacity (e.g., therapists, caseworkers, foster and adoption care specialists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, counselors, CASA representatives, early childhood & development specialists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, educators, juvenile justice and court representatives etc.).

Please note that your registration will need to be completed in one session. You should allow about an hour for this purpose - note that the session will time out after 3 hours.

We have made the application questionnaire available for download - this may help you prepare some of the requested information prior to beginning the registration process. Please note that there is a limit of 100 words for the response to each question.

Each participant must purchase their own copy of the book, The Connected Child, which is required for successful completion of Phase I. You can purchase the book on Amazon.com

Time Commitment

Phase I: May 18 - November 3
10 weeks (2.5 - 4 hours per week) of online coursework prior to attending the on-site training.

Mandatory interpersonal interview completed by June 30, 2021
By telephone, around 1 to 3 hours long

Successful Completion of Phase I by November 3, 2021
Average total quiz score of 80% or higher & completion of phone interview

Phase II: July 16 - July 23
Online training over 5 days including an assortment of both required live Zoom sessions & pre-recorded videos.

TBRI Practitioner Rights & Responsibilities Agreement
Signed 'TBRI Practitioner Rights & Responsibilities Agreement Form' upon completion of training to receive the training materials.

*All requirements of Phase I, including financial obligations, must be completed to proceed to Phase II on-site training.
